How do I record?
Open an episode and press Record. Pick your microphone, watch the level, and start after the count-in. You can pause, listen back and retry.
What file types can I upload?
MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and WebM.
What loudness does the export use?
-16 LUFS, which is what podcast apps expect.
What is the difference between the clean presets?
Quick clean tidies the recording. Studio voice gives a fuller, closer sound. AI noise removal sends the audio to an AI service to separate the voice from a noisy background; it uses credits.
How do credits work?
Every account gets 100 free credits each month. AI actions use credits and you see an estimate first. See Pricing.
Can I get my episodes out?
Yes. Export an MP3 any time. Your newest exports are kept in the episode, and you can delete everything from your account.
How do I delete my data?
In the app open Account and choose Delete account, or see Delete your data.
Can Vandcast host my show?
Not yet. Hosting and an RSS feed are planned, with no date.
