How it works

From recording to published file in four steps

  1. Record or uploadOpen Vandcast, start an episode and record with your microphone, or drop in the files you have. Leave noise suppression off while recording: raw audio gives the cleaning step the most to work with.
  2. Clean itPick quick clean for a tidy-up, studio voice for a fuller sound, or AI noise removal for a noisy room. You see the voice level against the background before and after, and you can undo.
  3. ArrangePut clips on the story lane in order. Add music underneath: generate it, or upload yours. It follows the story and lowers under the voice. Add a cover and fill in the show details.
  4. ExportPress Export. You get one MP3 levelled to -16 LUFS with tags, cover and chapters. Upload it to the podcast host you use.

What you pay

Steps one, three and four are free. The cleaning presets that run on our side are free too. Credits are used when you ask for an AI action, and you always see the estimate first. More on credits.
